Dear

I have been informed that you are a new music teacher or are in a new position in a school in New Mexico. The New Mexico Music Educators Association offers you a program of assistance.

It is FREE!
It is CARING!
It is USEFUL!
It is PROFESSIONAL!

The NMMEA Mentoring program offers the support of retired music educators to current music educators. The intent is to connect two music teachers in an educational relationship with the goal of a successful and less stressed teaching experience.

Connecting with an experienced teacher might include advice for teaching techniques, strategies for dealing with administration, students, faculty and parents, scheduling and comfort in times of stress.  This might include classroom observations, demonstrations,  telephone advice, etc.

The assistance is directed toward beginning teachers,  teachers in a new position,  experienced teachers with new problems and those who just need someone to talk with. The service is at no cost and is offered by the retired educators to share the love of their profession.

WHY NOT CONNECT WITH SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS AND LOVES
MUSIC EDUCATION IN NEW MEXICO?
IT CAN BE A SATISFYING, STRESS-REDUCING EXPERIENCE.
IT COULD ENRICH YOUR CAREER CHOICE!

Please contact me, RON LIPKA, Director of Mentoring Services.
