Description
We are looking for a keyboardist to accompany the congregation in hymn singing, provide prelude, offering, and postlude, and accompany our small choir. Piano skills are required. This person will work closely with the Music Director and Pastor, as well as be in contact with the other Accompanist to plan and provide for piano music in worship services. This is a Part-Time position - 2 weeks a month. You will need to accompany church choir rehearsal on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Sunday morning church service from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. Sunday mornings the church choir rehearses briefly at 8:30 a.m.
Requirements
Applicants music play: Intermediate - Intermediate/Advanced Level Piano Skills. Ability to play 4-part hymn accompaniments from \"Glory to God\" Presbyterian Accompaniment hymnal as well as sacred piano solos for the Prelude, Postlude, and Communion.
